About IIT JAM 2022

Joint Admission Test for MSc (JAM) is an all-India level online entrance exam conducted by the Indian Institute of Technology (IITs) every year on a rotational basis on behalf of the Ministry of Human Resources Development (MHRD), Government of India. Candidates are informed that the biometric system of identity verification (fingerprint) will be used for JAM 2021 exam as well as admission. IIT JAM is conducted to provide admission to candidates in MSc and other postgraduate courses offered at IITs and integrated PhD courses offered by the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore. Several National Institutes of Technology (NITs) and Centrally Funded Technical Institutes (CFTIs) also accept JAM scores for MSc admissions.

IIT Roorkee has stated the IIT JAM 2022 eligibility criteria which are given below:

In order to fulfil the IIT JAM 2022 eligibility criteria, candidates should hold a bachelor’s degree with at least 55 per cent aggregate (50 per cent for SC/ ST/ PwD category candidates) or equivalent CGPA. It may be noted that the aggregate should be considered without rounding off and taking all subjects into account, including languages and subsidiaries, all years combined.
Candidates who have appeared or will appear for their graduation exams in 2022 are also eligible to apply.
For the admission process, candidates who have passed the IIT JAM 2022 exam will be eligible to apply for the admission process.
